Big air at Gas City - 8/6/2004

Due to a demonstration in gymnastics in a sprint car, provided by the breaking of a left rear tie-rod on the lower side of the bird-cage, The hallmark motorsports 2HL has once again provided cameras and fans with some thrilling moments at Gas City. Hats off to Jeggs and the Gas City crew for providing the kind of safety crew for all us drivers at Gas City. Dustin had a really wild ride in my heat race, I talked to him afterward and he was alright. As for both of the cars they are off to the frame builder to be rebuilt. The 2hl frame is going to undergo a facelift with a Twister style recliped frontend and transformation from a 30" left rear tortion tube to a modified 27" torsion bar for more left rear bite. Hopefully all of this will happen before next weeks Gas City show.I hope all of my peeps had fun at Eldora this weekend.
